Been having thoughts about our Wild Meadows Weekend? No problem! Below are the answers to the questions we get asked the most. Please give them a good read through so that you are set for your weekend of fun on the farm!

Camping Info

Yes! Please enter a group name in our comment box at the time of booking and we will be able to place your near to each other. Please be sure to all book the same field in order to make this possible.

We are a tent only site and are unfortunately unable to accept campervans or caravans.

Yes! We are so excited to be pairing up with the incredible Bumble Tents & Events who can provide you with luxurious, fun and stylish accommodation. You must book your camping pitch first, before heading to the Bumble Tents & Events website to add a bell tent. Please note you will need your pitch booking number (beginning with a C) before you can book a bell tent.

Yes! There are fire pits to use in all of our camping fields and a wood box is included in your pitch booking. Only wood provided by us is permitted to be burnt in the fire pits, you must not bring any from home or forage for it on site. Please note that if we have had very hot and dry weather that we may ban all types of fire. If this happens we will let you know before the event.

Yes! Gazebo’s must be put up close to your tent and you must be mindful of other people around you.

Cooking on a BBQ or gas stove is permitted. Please ensure that they are raised off of the ground and that you always keep water near by. Please note that if we have had very hot and dry weather that we may ban all types of fire/cooking. If this happens we will let you know before the event.

Yes of course! You must have both booked in to the same field and written your group name in the comment box at the time of booking.

Yes! The camping element is exactly the same, we just have the added bonus of Friday night ‘S’mores & Singalong’ (exclusively for campers), day time activities (exclusively for campers) and our Folk on the Farm event on Saturday 26th and our Best of British Party on Sunday 27th Aug!

No cars are permitted in the camping fields at any time. Each camping field has its own car park and so you will be required to leave your car there. We have lots of wheelbarrows so that you can transport your bits and bobs over to your designated pitch.

Event Ticket Only Info

Wild Meadows Weekend is from Friday 25th August- Monday 28th August 2023.

All tickets must be purchased in advance. None will be available on the day.

All of our bookings are done online. Click here for our booking page. 

If you are having trouble finding your booking/tickets or if you think you may have accidently deleted them, don’t panic! Please email us on info@themacsfarm.co.uk and we will be able to help you.

Car parking is included with both camping & event only tickets. We ask that you think about how you are travelling to the festival and try to bring as few cars as possible.

Everybody coming to either event needs to have a ticket. Adult (16+) £29.50, Under 16’s £17.00, Under 3’s go free. Tickets should be purchased based on how old the person will be at the time of attending our Wild Meadows Weekend.

Tickets will be sent via email straight after you have booked them (please check your junk inbox if you cannot see them). You must bring your e-ticket/s with you when you arrive for the weekend as you will need to exchange these for your wristbands.

Yes! We have our Folk on the Farm with Noble Jacks event on Saturday 26th August and our Best of British Party event on Sunday 27th August. You can purchase an event only ticket for either of these. Or, you can book a camping pitch and get both included, plus a Friday night ‘S’mores & Singalong’ night and day time activities included too.

Timings

Campers can arrive from 12noon on Friday 25th August. Please do not arrive before this time as our gates will not be open. Our Folk on the Farm with Noble Jacks on Saturday 26th August takes place from 4-10pm and our Best of British Party on Sunday 27th August takes place from 3-9pm.

  • Friday 25th August- S’mores & Singalong (campers only): 6pm
  • Saturday 26th August: Folk on the Farm with Noble Jacks: 4-10pm
  • Sunday 27th August: Best of British Party: 3-9pm

Check out is on Monday 28th August by 2pm.

Wild Meadows takes place on our family run egg farm, The Macs Farm, Ditchling, East Sussex BN6 8TL

Wild Meadows takes place on our farm and so the signal can be patchy. Use this as an opportunity to switch off and enjoy quality time with your friends and family.

No, there is no cash point on site and the nearest one is 2.5 miles away in Hassock, so please make sure you bring enough cash with you.

Please note that our bars and crepe shack will be card only.
