Wild Meadows Accessibility Information

We are committed to making our Wild Meadows Weekend as accessible as possible for all our customers, and we want to ensure our events are inclusive.

Take a look at our FAQS below for more information. If you have any other access-related questions or requests, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch via:

Email: [email protected]

Telephone: 01273 845189

Postal: The Macs Farm, Ditchling, BN6 8GT

We aim to give you a response within 5 days, but this may be longer nearer the time of the event, so please do try and bear with us.

Our Wild Meadows Weekend is an outdoor event that takes place at The Macs Farm in The Nest Box Field. The majority of this grass field is flat, with a slight increment to the Nest Box Bar area. The field can be accessed via a gravel track from the accessible car park.

Across the farm there are gravel and tarmac roads, farm dirt tracks, as well as mulch and grass paths, most of which is uneven ground. Mobility problems are posed on grass areas, particularly in bad weather conditions. If it rains and gets muddy, it may become more difficult to manoeuvre. Please bear this in mind when attending any event and come prepared for all weather conditions.

The closest camping field to where our Wild Meadows Weekend takes place is The Nest Box Camping Field.

Event Parking

We have accessible parking available next to the Nest Box Field, where our events take place. It is a gravel/stone car park, a short distance away from the event space. Once you have booked your event tickets, please send us an email at [email protected] to reserve your accessible car parking space.

Camping Parking

For the safety of everyone, we do not allow cars in our camping fields. There are designated accessible parking spaces in each of our camping field car parks.

If you require a camping pitch that is as close as possible to our car park, please let us know and we will of course be happy to help.

We are happy to provide any customer requiring assistance, with an extra ticket for one carer or personal assistant, free of charge. Simply purchase your ticket in the usual way via our booking page on our website and then contact us at [email protected]. We ask that you please provide us with your booking number, contact details for your carer/personal assistant and one of the following forms of supporting documentation:

  • DLA
  • PIP
  • Recognised Assistance Dog ID Card
  • Deaf/Blind Registration
  • Credibility Access Card

We recognise that the documentation above may not apply to everyone who requires assistance. Please email us any additional supporting documentation.
