Here's some important info

Got a question?

Been having thoughts about Wild Meadows? No problem! Below are the answers to the questions we get asked the most. Please give them a good read through so that you are set for your weekend of fun on the farm!

Camping Info

Unless you are purchasing one of our designated group pitches, we are unable to reserve camping pitches at Wild Meadows. The field is spacious so there is a good chance that you will be able to pitch up with your mates but we do recommend getting there early to increase your chances.

We are so excited to have group pitches available over Wild Meadows Weekend. Booking a group pitch means that you are guaranteed to be able to camp alongside your familiy and friends in your own designated area. For more info on group pitches, please click here.

We are a tent only site and are unfortunately unable to accept campervans or caravans.

Yes! We are so excited to be pairing up with the incredible Bumblebell who can provide you with luxurious, fun and stylish accommodation. You must purchase your ‘Weekend Camping and Festival Tickets’ first and then add a bell tent if you wish afterwards.

We will not have fire pits in the camping field and no open fires will be permitted. You can bring your own stoves or BBQs from home but they must be raised off of the ground. You must not forage for wood on site or build any other type of fire. Always keep water near by and please note that if we have had very hot and dry weather that we may ban all types of fire. If this happens we will let you know before the event.

Gazebo’s are not permitted in the campsite

Cooking on a BBQ or gas stove is permitted in the campsite. Please ensure that they are raised off of the ground. You must not forage for wood on site or build any other type of fire. Always keep water near by. Please note that if we have had very hot and dry weather that we may ban all types of fire. If this happens we will let you know before the event.

Unfortunately not. Our pop up hotel is in its own area which is away from our regular camping field.

Camping at Wild Meadows is festival style camping and so is different from our usual summer set up.

No, cars must stay in the main car park which is at the very start of the farm. It is about a 10 minute walk from there to our regular camping field. In our opinion this is so much better as once you are set up, you will be able to properly relax and enjoy your time with us.

Ticket Info

Wild Meadows is from Friday 3rd September-Sunday 5th September 2021. You are more than welcome to camp for an extra night and leave on the Monday if you would like.

All tickets must be purchased in advance. None will be available on the day.

All of our bookings are done online. Click here for our booking page.

If you are having trouble finding your tickets or if you think you may have accidently deleted them, don’t panic! Please email us on and we will be able to help you.

Parking if free of charge but you do need to ‘book’ a car park ticket. One car is included per family/booking. We ask that you think about how you are travelling to the festival and try to bring as few cars as possible.

Everybody between the ages of 4-16 will need a childrens ticket. Children aged 3 years and under are free. Child tickets should be purchased based on how old the child will be at the Wild Meadows Weekend.

Tickets will be sent via email straight after you have booked them (please check your junk inbox if you cannot see them). You must bring your e-ticket/s with you when you arrive for the weekend as you will need to exchange these for your wristbands.

Due to the coronavirus situation, we have reduced the number of tickets that are available for our Wild Meadows Weekend. This has been done to give us every chance of being able to go ahead with what we have planned. Therefore, we are now only able to offer weekend camping tickets. No day tickets will be available.

Festival Timings

You can arrive from 10am on Friday 3rd September. Please do not arrive before this time as you will not be allowed in to the car park. You will only be able to leave and enter the site/car park during these times.

Our Wild Meadows area will open from 4pm on Friday 3rd. On Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th this area will open at 10:30am and close at 10pm.

About the site

Wild Meadows takes place on our family run egg farm, The Macs Farm, Southview, Ditchling, East Sussex BN6 8TQ

The festival takes place on our farm and so the signal can be patchy. Use this as an opportunity to switch off and enjoy quality time with your friends and family.

No, there is no cash point at the festival and the nearest one is 2.5 miles away in Hassocks, so please make sure you bring enough cash with you. Most of our activities and stall holders accept card.

COVID-19 Info

We know that there has been so much uncertainty over the past year but with the roadmap that we have been given, our event should be able to go ahead as planned. We have also changed the way in which we run our Wild Meadows Weekend to give ourselves every chance of welcoming you all to the farm.

If things really do change and we are not permitted to go ahead, then we would postpone the event until 2022 and all purchased tickets will be automatically transferred across to the new dates.
