Barn Owl Pellet Dissection

BRAND NEW FOR 2023! Take an adventure through our wild meadows to talk about all things owls! We have 3 species of breeding owls on the farm. Find out where they live and what they get up to during the night. After this, join Deano in our Old Chook Shed to dissect some barn owl pellets. This will tell us what our resident owls have been eating! Identification sheets and examination tools provided.

Timings:

4:30-5:15pm

Price: £12 per person. Car parking included.

Minimum Age: 9 years. This is a drop off session where the parent/guardian are not required to stay.

Meet At: Our activity meeting point at least 10 minutes before your session is due to start. If you are not camping with us, please allow 20 minutes to walk our farm trail from the car park to the activity meeting point.

We have plenty on site to keep your fed and watered!

Whilst you are here, take a wander through the farm to out Nest Box Barn & Mac Shack.

Mac Shack: Delicious sourdough sandwiches and sweet crepes, made with our very own organic eggs. (Subject to opening times)

The Nest Box: Locally produced soft & alcoholic drinks, draught beer, local, scooped ice cream and homemade cakes.

Please note that only food & drink purchased on site can be consumed on the farm, you cannot bring in your own.

Getting Here

Please use postcode BN6 8TL, which will take you to our camping entrance on Common Lane.

Please park in our visitor car park. From here you will be required to walk to your activity meeting point, where one of our activity team will meet you.
